More product details
The match is on. Now everyone has something to play for.
The Local Rugby League is a physical drinking card game for watching live Rugby League with your mates. Tries, forward passes, captain's challenges and other match-day moments give your cards something to react to while you follow the action.
Rugby League edition Β· 100 game cards + rules card Β· 2β6 players Β· Ages 18+
A Rugby League card game for the NRL viewing crew
Keep your cards in view, follow the included instructions and watch for the events on your cards. There is no app to download and no separate trivia round pulling everyone away from the match. The broadcast supplies the action; your mates supply the commentary.
Bring it out for a weekend game, an interstate clash or the next finals gathering. This is a live-match game, not player trading cards or a standalone rugby quiz.
A gift for the NRL fan who already has the jersey
Buying for Dad, your boyfriend or the mate who always hosts? Give them something the group can use together rather than another scarf. You do not need a clothing size or a favourite team's colours to choose the Rugby League edition.

Questions before you buy
Is this for Rugby League or Rugby Union?
Rugby League. This edition follows league match-day events; it is not the Rugby Union or Aussie Rules edition.
What comes in the game?
The Rugby League edition contains 100 game cards. Use the instructions included with your deck for the rules and scoring.
Can you play without alcohol?
Yes. Use non-alcoholic drinks or play for the card points only. The game is for 2β6 adults, and everyone chooses their own pace.
Who is it for?
Adults aged 18 and over who enjoy watching Rugby League with friends. Make sure a drinking-game gift suits the recipient, and never pressure anyone to drink.
Will it arrive for my gift date?
Check current availability and delivery options at checkout for your address. A date mentioned in a gift guide is not a delivery guarantee.
Watching a different sport?
Explore the Aussie Rules footy drinking card game, the T20 Cricket card game, or all The Local live-sport card games.
Read the quick-start guide and compare all three editions. Buying for a parent? Browse gifts for Dad for birthdays, Christmas and Father's Day.
