About The Local Games Co
The Local Games Co makes card games for watching sport with your mates. Designed in Melbourne, The Local turns moments in a live match into a game the room can play together.
The match is already on. Deal everyone in.
The idea is simple: give the people around the screen something to play as the action unfolds. You hold cards with events to watch for, score when they happen and keep following the match. The broadcast supplies the action.
Our Australian range has three editions: Aussie Rules, Rugby League and T20 Cricket. Each follows the events in that sport, with 100 game cards and a rules card for 2β6 players aged 18 and over.
Made for the people you watch with
Bring a deck to the mate who hosts, give Dad something for the next match together or put a game in the middle of your summer cricket catch-up. Choose the sport the group watches and let the match get things started.
The Local is described as a drinking card game, but alcohol is optional. You can use non-alcoholic drinks or play for points only. Everyone chooses their own pace.
